Thought I would post a picture of Ina in her usual 'sleep mode'.
This was taken when she had been back from a walk about 10 mins!
She also curls up in her bed into a little ball & tucks her nose under her paw. If she stays like that long enough I will try to get another photo.
She loves her comfort Laughing

Its strange that my 2 fawns sleep upside down, but my 3 blacks dont. I have never seen them turn that way at all. Smile

Yep, know that pose well Rolling Eyes
Chewy sleeps in all sorts of positions, but this is one of the regular ones. He's a fawn briard too.
He often curls his tail over to hide his bits though.

It certainly seems as if the fawns have their special way of sleeping. Zizou (black) just tends to lie on his side. He only lies the way the fawns do if we rub his belly. Shocked I was struck by Shani's post because of that.

PS Fabulous photos Very Happy

Great pics - Os (black) used to sleep upside down a lot but the last year or two he's stopped doing it.

And if you thought sleeping upside down was weird.... Take a look at the picture I've just posted. Since then the stairs have been stripped and polished. The wall has been painted. The stair gate removed. And still Os regularly chooses to sleep there. Anyone beat that for a strange place to sleep by choice?

Hugo is black and he mainly sleeps on his side, but often rolls onto his back for short periods, sometimes with all four legs in the air like Ina, sometimes with just the rear ones in the air, while the front ones flop to the side like Dillon!
And Jill, I bet you could make money from that photo of Ossie. It's both hilarious and adorable at the same time.

Norbert, who is fawn, used to sleep on his back with legs in the air as well - until he was about 2. Now he sleeps on his side. But his default position in the evenings is to snuggle under the 12 foot carpet runner in the hallway with 3 legs and belly completely covered. For some reason, he always leaves one front paw above the carpet - ready to whack someone perhaps? Laughing

Enya is always sleeping on her back and she is a fawn. Stroller who was also a fawn never slept on his back but he was a very big dog so I did wonder if weight has anything to do with it.

I wondered that and from what I could work out you can only do that if the photos are already posted on the web somewhere. Not sure that that's right but on that basis I just posted my picture to the album and referred to it.

it's taken me ages to do that. I opened an account on photobucket, uploaded some photos, then when you have put them on, hover your cursor over the photo & you will see a list appear, tap on the bottom one (img code), until you briefly see it flash 'copied', then add it to your thread (which you have already started to type, then right click & tap on paste, et voila! it will add to your thread, you can then preview it before you submit it.
I had to have help, there may be other ways, but that's mine. Good luck, lets see some more piccies.

I am glad you asked that because I had no idea either. it took me a year to get the one for my profile sorted out, and that was just luck! Thanks Maxnick for the advice.

Make an account on (for example) http://photobucket.com/
Upload your pics there. (the site tells you how).
One your pics are online make sure youre album is public. When your cursur is on the pic you see 3 'code's' under them, when you copy the code that has [img] tags and you paste the code here in a post we all can see your pics Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy.
