Yesterday a sad sad day as we had to say a final Goodbye to our beautiful Kari-Ann as she joined her Mum and brother at Rainbow Bridge.
We have so many happy memories of her from the day she was born she was special described as a 'Free Spirit' we had pleasure and some success in showing obedience and Good Citizens competing with her.
She has assisted me with Briard problems as she understood dogs with problems and how to react to them showing her calm assertive nature.
The tears and pain hurt so much as many of you know but we have had 12 wonderful years and she will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Run free sweet Kari-Ann

My heart aches for you & your family. Such sad news. She was a very special girl. So many of us have lovely memories of her, as well. So although she's not with us physically, she'll always live in our hearts & minds. Just know we are all thinking of you.
Perhaps all the "Stanahbries" will meet up at some point & run together.

Thank you all for your kind words both here and on Facebook it does help to know others share your feelings as we all love our Briards and know how deeply their paw prints are on our hearts. X

Hope you are coping, Brenda. It's such a hard time, as they leave such a massive hole. My heart aches for you all. The Carlisle walk will help when you see all of those briards in one place! And, like me last year, you might have to shed a tear when you see one who reminds you of Kari-Ann. I met Hugo's sister last time and it was lovely, although it did make me cry. Keep on looking at your photos and talking about her antics - it will help you get through this sad time. Thinking of you.

So sorry to hear your sad news. Still remember me and you trying to get our puppies to keep four feet on the floor at their first show. They were a little challenging. They gave us such fun over the years. Cant believe how time flies. I will be getting another briard in a few years when I have the time to dedicate.
