Hoping everyone had an “alright” Easter. The weather wasn’t the greatest but at least we didn’t get snow....

Yes thanks. We went to Hampshire, Jane Austen's village, where some of our family live, and took Dinah, sitting beside me on the back seat, carefully harnessed. She remains unkeen on car journeys, especially motorway ones like today, when those monster lorries can loom up behind, but she is definitely better than she was, still very panty but prepared to accept treats, which she wouldn't, and always much better on the return journey. She enjoyed her time in Steventon though - my sister in law and family have tame sheep and naughty mini ponies in paddocks - which D was most intrigued by, while those ponies, very little bigger than her, put on a rodeo display, stumpy little legs absolutely whizzing along! We also had friends round yesterday with their dear little Lucas terrier, and we did some splendid walking with both dogs trotting along on their leads down spectacularly muddy bridlepaths. The first wood anenomes are out though, not sure that the dogs appreciated them but we did. Hope everyone else had a good break, and will tomorrow too. Amanda
