i have never had a Briard that dreams so intensley as Freya. she often wakes up snapping in the air.It makes us all jump and she looks so surprised!! Shocked
Neena wonders what on earth she is doing and looks disgusted
Anyone else have a dog that does the same thing?
I worry she might be having night, mares Rolling Eyes

Dexter and jasmine both dream,

Jasmine is spoilt and sleeps in my room (not on the bed though) she often wakes me up with cute little barks and her legs going like the clappers, she also sleeps on her back with her legs against the wall she must jump or something in her sleep and pushes against the wall and as its a wooden floor goes flying across the floor then I will turn the light on and she will be in a heap on the other side of the room looking rather bewildered Laughing when she was a real puppy I noticed she was sucking in her sleep she must have been dreaming of her mummy.

Dexter tends to do it after a long day out, he LOVES to swim in the river dart and he tends to have swimming dreams again his feet going and little woofs.

Hi Jayne.
Jasper used to do this a lot when he was younger. it was scarey to see. he would wake up and come to one of us for reasurance.
don't know what was going on with him. as though he was catching flies.
asked my vet what he thought. may have been dreaming as you say,
we got used to it in the end. Rolling Eyes

Everyone has the dog that twitches and yips which is very funny to watch but her dreams seem to terrify her and she is such a big baby. Rolling Eyes
I was on the phone the other night to a friend and it happened. they thought there was a dog fight! she laughed when i said it was only Freya dreaming.
