Technically this is for a Beardie cross, not a Briard, but as we all love dogs, I thought I would try to cross post this in the hope that you can spread the word (those who are Fb, or to friends etc)http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=523185394381214&set=a.437189306314157.102036.148748661824891&type=1&theater.
This is despicable that things like this go on, in a country which is supposed to love animals. Hope the link works.(am not very teccy)

Don't think the link worked, if you want to view it, go to the Beardies section (right hand side of this page) & view the thread "6 month old Beardie in danger of being pts in Ireland"
Thank you so much.

HI Maxine, I've been on The Bearded site.

I've cross posted on to one of the other pet forums I use.

I hope a home can be found in time. Very Happy

I have been in touch with a friend in Ireland, apparently because of the publicity, someone is supposed to be going tomorrow to re-home this dog. If not, my friend is going to get him & do some emergency fostering until he is found a rescue place/forever home. Very Happy he will be safe.

This little lad has now been collected from the pound by one of the FBC crew (beardies) in Ireland. He is safe & she will find him a new home.
Happy ending for at least one little furry soul. Smile
