I lost my beautiful fabulous briard Keisha last night. I am deverstated. She had not been right and had been to the vet several times over the past month. Any way last night she went down hill and the vet said she was bleeding internally and was not going to make it through the night so she was let go peacefully. She was only 11 and I am going to miss her so much. She was born in my bedroom and was the most loyal and faithful dog. We have had a fantastic time together. walking for miles acorss the beach and woods. Only 2 weeks ago we were chuffing across the beach. Cant believe how quick it has all happened. This is my last briard and I wish all of you the best and treasure those times you have with your beautiful faithful friends. They really are a heart wrapped in fur.

Singing off now from the website

Tina

So very very sorry to hear the sad news that Keisha has gone over the bridge Tina.
She was a wonderful old girl and still wapping many of us at the shows to her final years.
She never failed to look immaculate and gave many of us a run for our money in the ring ,but she was never happier than walking in the woods and in the river.
We send our condolences to you and all of your family Tina she will be sadly missed by us all.

Tina, I am so sorry for the loss of Keisha, I know how heartbroken you must be. Even though you are not going to have another Briard, they will always be a part of your life, & when the time is right, please come back to the site with your honorary Briards. I will keep in touch to let you know how Ina is getting on. (for those who don't know, Ina was bred by Tina).
Run free at the bridge beautiful Keisha.

It sounds like what happened to Oscar. He was seemingly fine one night, rolling around on the lawn, then became ill the next day and we had to let him go within a week due to internal bleeding (the vet said he had lesions on his liver). He was just 11 too.
Really feel for you, Tina. Losing them is always so hard and it must have come as a shock when it was so unexpected. Hope you can take comfort in the fact that she didn't have a long, drawn-out illness. It sounds like she was truly loved and therefore had a wonderful life.
Thinking of you at this very sad time.

I'm so sorry to hear this Tina. It's only 3 weeks since we had to say goodbye to Ross, also 11, so I know how you're feeling. Perhaps the two of them will be playing together now - the newcomers at the Bridge.

Thinking of you, Tina. Run free Keisha.

Tina, just read your post having been away this weekend. Devastated, so, so sorry. I know how much she meant to you, like all your dogs, they were all so special and couldn't have been loved any more. I thank you for letting me have the privelege of owning Keisha's sister Lola, I treasure each day I have left with her. Will be in touch with you.
Run free Keisha with your mum and dad
